It’s that wonderful meal between breakfast and lunch that seems somehow so much better than either of them that we’ll skip both and do brunch instead!
Lisburn Square is fast becoming a hotspot of eateries, coffee shops and treat spots so we’ve decided to showcase our favourite brunch destinations.
It’s almost the weekend after all…
We can’t talk about brunch in Lisburn Square without mentioning The Lane. From waffles and pancakes to classic fry-ups and eggs every which way, the quaint café on Haslems Lane covers all brunch bases.
Currently the holders of the number one spot on Trip Advisor, Square Bistro may be famous for their themed nights of tapas, curry and fresh seafood dinners.
However, the early menu is just as impressive. From the exotic lobster dip and pitta bread to a more traditional chorizo and egg breakfast wrap, you’ll be in for a mid-morning treat here.
Little Wing Pizza
One of the knockout new Northern Irish eatery brands in recent times, Little Wing Pizza is a taste sensation with their exotically sourced ingredients and authentic wood stone ovens.
But if pizza sounds a step too far for brunch, know that the understated salad and pasta dishes are just as good as the famed 24 inch feasts!
Don’t be fooled by the name, there’s a lot more than coffee going on below Glasshouse Coffee’s glass roof.
Glasshouse have a brunch menu to suit everyone from the traditional hangover cure of a “breakfast bap” to the more discerning greek flatbread or salmon salads.
Although they only opened their doors in September 2017, local creperie, Flipping Crepes has been getting stacks of great reviews.
You may be familiar with their heavenly milkshake creations, or sweet ooey-gooey chocolate crepes, but perhaps you didn’t know they have a savoury selection of tasty bites available too?!
There’s no better way to kick off an afternoon of batter-based feasting than with their classic Italiano Crepe. This melted cheese and cheese and pepperoni masterpiece is a firm favourite of ours for brunch. Flippin' marvellous.
